The Sanatan Hindu Cultural Society (SHCS) is a registered charitable organization based in Calgary, dedicated to preserving and promoting Sanatan Dharma and Indian culture in Canada. Through spiritual, educational, and cultural activities, SHCS serves as a hub for devotees and families to connect, worship, and celebrate their faith. Our mission is to create a nurturing environment for people of all ages, ensuring the continuity of our rich traditions and values for future generations. We offer spiritual programs, yoga, meditation classes, and community service events to bring people together in devotion and fellowship.

Our New Temple

We are excited to announce our new endeavor—the construction of a grand Sri Balaji Temple in Calgary. This temple will be the first of its kind in Western Canada, offering a divine space for worship, cultural education, and community activities. The 12-acre land we plan to acquire will host not only the temple but also a cultural center, library, community kitchen, and facilities for yoga and spiritual learning. This sacred space will be a beacon for Hindus across North America, fostering spiritual growth and communal harmony. We are reaching out to you to be a part of this historic project and help us build a legacy for generations to come.
