Vaikuntha Ekadasi will be celebrated on , Sunday January 1, 2023 at Sanatan Hindu Cultural Society. Vaikuntha Ekadasi is one of the most important and auspicious days for Hindus. On this day, the Vaikuntha Dwaram ‘The Gates of Vaikuntha’ are believed to be kept open. Devotees will have the opportunity to have Vaikuntha Darshanam of Lord Venkateswara and Consorts.


7:30 am: Suprabatham Seva
8:00 am to 10:30 am: Sankalpam, Punyahavachanam, Vaikuntha Dwara Pooja, Naivedyam, Maha Mangalarathi, Shathumurai, Uthsavam, Vaikuntha Dwara Darshanam, Theertha Prasadam Viniyogam, Ashirvadam to Sponsors
10:30 am: Vaikuntha Dwara Pravesham
12:00 pm – 4:00 pm: Pratyeka Seva
12:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Navagraha Archana
6:00 pm: Aradhanam
8:00 pm: Uthsavam,Aradhana for Uthsava Murthy, Naivedyam, Theertha Prasadam Viniyogam
9:00 pm: Sayanotsavam/Ekantha Seva

Seva Opportunities:
Pratyeka Seva – $250 per family
Thomalai Seva – $150 per family
Sampoorna Seva/Udaya Asthamana Seva – $100 per family

Seva Details:
Pratyeka Seva – $250 per family
Seva Karthas will get the oppprtunity to perform Seva in exclusivity with family members for 10 to 15 minutes in the reserved area in front of the main deity Sankalpam and Ashtadala Pada Padma Aradhana will be performed for Seva Karthas followed by Mangala Arthi and Theertha Prasadam

Thomalai Seva – $150 per family
Devotees can contribute to the cost of Thomalais (large garlands) adorned on Perumal and Thayar deities. Sevakarthas will get the opportunity to carry the garlands around the Prakaram before it is placed on the deities. Devotees get to watch the Alankaram from close quarters and will also get Sankalpam done in their names

Sampoorna Seva/Udaya Asthamana Seva – $100 per family
Sevakarthas will get Sankalpam during all the events of the day from morning to night

Sayanothsavam/Ekantha Seva – $50 per family
Sevakarthas will get to participate in the sayanotsavam, that is putting the Lord to sleep. They will get to rock the cradle(oonjal) carrying the Lord and Sankalpam will be offered in their names

Navagraha Archana – $25 per family
On the occasion of the new year, devotees can perform special archana for the Navagrahams. This will help devotees who are impacted by Sani Peyarchi (transit of Saturn planet) in January 2023 to ward off/reduce the ill effects from the planetary transit

Special Archana for Vaikuntha Ekadasi – $25 per family
Devotees can perform Archana to the deities on this auspicious occassion and get Sankalpam done in their names. This Seva will be performed through the day
